Activities
Activity programs have been carefully planned and are administered
experienced professional staff. Two different programs are available based on specific needs.
The Wellington’s monthly program of activities typically includes discussion sessions on current events and topical issues, bingo, bridge and other card games, entertainment, religious services, bus trips and outings. These activities are included in your
basic services
and are available for all residents.
The Special Activity Group
is available as a supplement for seniors with special needs resulting from mild confusion or memory loss, or who may desire a fuller, more socially active and structured day. In addition to participation in all of the regular Wellington activities, they are provided with activities which emphasize remembrances and familiar actions, such as exercise, crafts, baking, cards, bingo and other games plus a variety of luncheon trips. This program is offered at an additional cost.
